  • Introduction

Young people are an untapped resource. We believe greater investment in youth makes the world a healthier, more peaceful place to live.

We are an informal network of young social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and advisors.

    We facilitate youth-to-youth philanthropy by:

    1. Advising young wealth-holders
    2. Building networks and relationships
    3. Supporting organizational development, conferences and seminars
    4. Distributing information

Unlike traditional philanthropic consulting groups, we are an open community of internationally recognized experts in youth and we are committed to supporting young wealth-holders in their philanthropy.

Strategic philanthropists give more than money by contributing time, wisdom, relationships, and competency. No one is more competent in youth issues than young people themselves, yet few young wealth-holders hear the call. We believe that by helping young donors to invest in their peers we can transform philanthropy to be more insightful, leading to happier grantees and happier grant-makers.

Young people are under-engaged as a force for change. Part of the work of our network is to demonstrate the power of young people by bringing transformational youth work to the world stage and showcasing its potential. As such, we act as a bridge, bringing together grassroots organizers and decision-makers.

To help give youth and our own network legitimacy we have developed a council of some of the wisest and most influential change agents in the world. We are mostly under 35 and our networks include partner organizations in more than 180 countries. Among our council, as well, are several young wealth-holders, who themselves believe in and invest in youth, and who want to play a public role in our outreach process to help inspire their peers to take action.

One unique value-add of our network is our youth. We are not all foundation program officers, but rather a cadre of very diverse people who are experienced working with youth, both locally and globally, on many diverse issues ranging from social and political reform to art and interfaith community building. And, we have all identified the rise of young, global philanthropy as a vital issue to which we contribute our volunteer time and energy.
